DMS Assistant Principal

Mrs. Maggie Roberts - DMS Assistant Principal

Hello!

I’m Maggie Roberts, the Assistant Principal at Danville Middle School. I’m thrilled to be part of a district that values student-centered learning, strong relationships, and a positive school climate.

Before stepping into administration, I taught high school mathematics and discovered just how powerful connection and encouragement can be in helping students succeed. I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre. While at King’s, I was also the 3rd baseman of the Monarch softball team—an experience that taught me the value of teamwork, discipline, and resilience, all of which continue to influence my leadership style today.

During my time in the classroom, I also coached softball and field hockey, which deepened my love for mentoring students both in and out of the classroom. These experiences continue to fuel my passion for creating an environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow.

At DMS, I’m committed to supporting teachers through coaching, building a culture of teamwork, and promoting student engagement through meaningful relationships. I believe that when we create an environment where students and staff feel safe, valued, and inspired, we open the door for great things to happen.

Outside of school, you can usually find me spending time with my family, crafting, or working on homesteading projects. My husband and I are raising two future Ironmen, and we love being part of the Danville community.

I’m looking forward to a year full of growth, connection, and celebration. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m always happy to connect!
